"I was going to direct 'Batman', and ['Justice League'] made me leave, I left. I never wanted to do it. that too. I'm not suitable," said Ben Affleck.
Ben Affleck, currently promoting the upcoming film Air, has opened up about the "worst experience" of his decades-long acting career. The actor recalls his experience as Batman in Zack Snyder's Justice League as a bad experience and something that made him "drink too much".
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Affleck said: "You can give a panel on all the reasons why you shouldn't do it. From production to bad decisions to tragedy. personally terrible, and ended up with the weirdest taste in my mouth."
"But I was about to direct 'Batman' and ['Justice League'] made me say, 'I'm out.I never want to do this again. I am not suitable. This is the worst experience I have ever seen in a company rife with bad experiences. It broke my heart. It's difficult.And I started drinking too much. I went back to the hotel in London, it was [drink too much] or jump out the window. And I just thought, 'This is not the life I want. My children are not there. I am miserable.
