Dacre Montgomery films Stranger Things cameo from far away from Australia during COVID

Dacre Montgomery plays the late Billy Hargrove in the series... Unfortunately, Daker Montgomery failed to film his scenes from Stranger Things in the exact location of his teammates.

The actor, who played the late Billy Hargrove in the series, filmed a season 4 cameo moving fast away from his Australian hometown due to COVID-19 restrictions. Montgomery, 27, reflected on his experience in various Instagram posts, saying he worked with a local team and asked director Sean Levy to watch the process via Zoom.

"I am delighted to be able to capture this scene in my hometown of Perth, Australia, during the pandemic," Montgomery wrote in the caption. "What an absolute blessing to work with such an amazing local team and director @slevydirect at Zoom! @strangerthingstv."

The photos presented show a damaged Montgomery front for the series, including a chest full of cuts and wounds. He also wore a white tank top with a blood hole near his heart.

Montgomery also posted a video of her laughing at the horrible dress with the makeup artist on set. Montgomery joined Stranger Things in its second season, which premiered in 2017. Season 3 focused heavily on Billy's unintentional conversion to crime after the Guardian of the Mind took over his physical body.

Montgomery briefly reprised his role in a season four episode titled "Dear Billy." He then appears in one of his half-brother Max Mayfield's (Sadie Sink) nightmares. Billy's untimely death haunts Max in season 4 as he struggles with headaches, demons, and general mental health issues.

In the fourth episode, Max visits Billy's grave to read a letter to him. Then the new villain, Vekna, tries to catch him using Billy's image as a manipulation tactic.

The 1st part of Stranger Things season 4 is already streaming on Netflix. Additional episodes of this season will be released on July 1. Only two episodes will make up the second part, and the final episode will last about two and a half hours.
