Elon Musk has denied reports that SpaceX, the billionaire aerospace company, has settled a sexual harassment lawsuit filed by flight attendants.
SpaceX paid $250,000 in 2018 to settle a lawsuit involving escorting him while he worked as part of the cabin crew for the company's corporate jet fleet, Insider reported.
Citing interviews and documents, Insider reports the aviation attendant accused Musk of revealing himself without consent and rubbing his feet.
In a series of tweets, Musk disavowed the details of the report. "These wild accusations are completely false," Musk wrote.
Musk also suggested that the NEWS was released to thwart his plans to buy Twitter after securing a $44 billion deal to acquire the social media platform. "Their only goal is a price deal to prevent a Twitter takeover," he wrote, later clarifying that he meant a "success path." Earlier this week, Musk said the Twitter acquisition was delayed until the company could prove less than 5% of the platform's accounts were fake or spam.
But Musk later tweeted that he was "committed to acquiring."
