The woman brings voluptuous elegance and glamor to the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.
Lady Helen Mirren dances on the red carpet of the Cannes International Film Festival in stunning style.
On Friday, the award-winning actress attended the screening of Mother and Son (Un Petit Frere), wearing a gorgeous metallic gown embellished with metallic sequins and wire, a pair of diamond Chopard earrings, and black heels.
While Mirren's mirrored ball gown shone from all angles, her glamorous makeup and haircut stole the show.
Mirren transforms her signature short bean into a waist style achieved with long, platinum-colored extensions styled into an elegant half-tail. A L'Oreal Paris spokesperson added drama with her bold eye makeup - smoky cat eyes achieved by a dark black-winged contour paired with pink lips. In addition to her lively ensemble, Mirren brings cheer to the show with her dance moves as she swirls the red carpet with actress and model Andy McDowell.
The screen icon recently talked about her relationship with the beauty industry as the star on the cover of People's Beautiful Issue 2022.
"Don't get me wrong - I love beauty, and I love looking at beautiful things. But I don't like the word beauty [because it] has to do with the beauty industry - makeup and products, skincare and more - because I think it excludes most of us." that's not pretty," he said.
For Mirren, the word "beauty" defines the human experience. "There are wonderful people in the world, and it is so much fun to watch them, male or female. Seeing beautiful people is a miracle," she said. "But most of us are not beautiful. We have other things that are just as powerful as beauty. And I want to see us celebrate those things... I like the word swing because, according to me, swing means being confident, presenting myself to the world, and enjoying the world around me. I think the so-called beauty industry should be called the self-love industry. We give people the bragging rights."
