Jameson later clarified that he could move his legs, which he demonstrated by lifting them while lying in bed.
The former adult film star revealed earlier this year that she struggles with unexplained muscle weakness and is "unable to walk." Jenna Jameson's physical therapy paid off after struggling with unexplained muscle weakness for the past few months.
The 47-year-old former adult movie star shared a health update on Instagram, telling followers he was in "good spirits" after being unable to walk in January due to an undisclosed illness.
"I'm getting stronger every day," she wrote in the selfie, "Physical therapy helps stay consistent and in a good mood. Thank you for all your prayers that lifted me."
Last month, Jameson celebrated another important event with his followers by posting a photo of himself without a walker. "We only realized it then. I'm still walking, but I'm taking steps! Thanks to everyone who sent good vibes," he wrote in the caption of the post.
In March, Jameson said he was at home and in bed but doing his best to improve after a month in the hospital and being misdiagnosed by Guillain-Barre.
"I'm slowly but surely regaining my strength," she said on her Instagram Story. "I walk - on a rollator. It is physically demanding, but I think more than that, it's also very mentally challenging. Mentally very challenging."
"As you can see, yes, I can move my legs. I'm not paralyzed," he said. "I was struggling with extreme muscle weakness. Some problems with my left nerve."
He later added that the problem lay in his left femoral nerve, which runs from the thigh to just above the knee and controls the muscles around it.
Jameson, who lives in Hawaii with partner Lior Beaton and their 4-year-old daughter Batel Lou, said the recovery process was "messy, not slow." But I like a good challenge.
"I fight, kick..., take names, and soon I will be standing again without help, and life will be back to normal. As normal as possible," he added with a laugh.
