Jim Cramer: Get a great deal on Excelerate Energy right now

He also emphasized the company's strong financials.

"The stock is a bit cheaper than Cheniere Energy, the king of LNG exports in the United States, measured against last year's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization." "Valuation appears reasonable to me," said the "Mad Money" host.

"If you want to participate in the rise of liquefied natural gas, which you should," he continues, "I think Excelerate Energy is a great way to play it, especially now that the stock has pulled back from its highs."

Excelerate Energy shares rose 2.02% on Friday but hit a new 52-week low earlier. Cramer likes the stock because it is an LNG play when "the rest of the world is anguished to import liquefied natural gas from the US."

"Excelerate has great margins. "I think the EBITDA margin is the right one to watch because it Is a very capital intensive business, so it Is important to back out the financial hit they take from their floating LNG terminals," he said, also saying the company's profitability.

Cramer did, however, point out some disadvantages of the company, such as the fact that it is a controlled company, with founder George Kaiser holding 77 percent of the voting power. Excelerate is also not a natural play on liquefied natural gas exports from the United States, according to Cramer.

"However, as more countries sign deals to buy American natural gas, infrastructure to unload those shipments will be required." "That's where Excelerate comes in," he explained.
