Kelly Rizzo recalls some of the tender moments she shared with her late husband, Bob Saget, more than three months after his untimely death.
On social media on Saturday, Rizzo shared a black-and-white photo of himself standing outside in the rain, holding an umbrella and smiling. "I had the best rainy-day companion. Rainy days were our favorite because we could spend the entire day cuddling on the couch and watching our "programs." "Rizzo, 42, posted the message in an Instagram Story and a red broken-heart emoji.
Saget's photo was first shared on Instagram by his longtime friend and stand-up comedian Jeffrey Ross. Ross shared the picture, as well as two others of him and Saget, on Saturday.
Saget was superb even in bad weather, according to Ross and Rizzo.
"Bob was a friend for rainy days. Purchase one for yourself, "Ross captioned his Instagram post. Saget died on January 9th, at the age of 65. The beloved actor was discovered dead in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida, one day after appearing in a comedy.
According to a report obtained by PEOPLE from the Orange County Medical Examiner, Saget most likely fell backward also died from blunt head trauma. There was no use of drugs or alcohol. However, according to an incident news from the Orange County Sheriff's Office, the department could not reach a definitive conclusion like to the cause of his fatal injury.
Following Saget's death, Rizzo and his three adult daughters Aubrey, Lara, and Jennifer - sued Orange County Sheriff John Mina also the District Nine Medical Examiner's Office to prevent the release of certain related documents to the actor's death. In addition, the family obtained a permanent injunction prohibiting the public release of the most explicit photos abode as part of the death investigation.
