Markiplier sends out an update to his fans following a surprise hospital selfie

Fischbach recently celebrated the long-awaited release of his highly anticipated 'In Space with Markiplier' interactive video series to great acclaim, but he's now unable to bask in his success due to some unexpected health complications.

On April 21, Mark posted a selfie of himself in a hospital bed with what appears to be blood on his hand. He captioned the photo, "Well, this is inconvenient timing..." Fans immediately expressed their concern on Twitter, prompting the YouTuber to joke that he'd eventually tell them what started his latest hospital visit if they watched his new series.

This news came on Markiplier's stern message to CVS Pharmacy just a few days ago. He expressed frustration that the company had not refilled his prescription and even seemed to remove it from their system entirely.

"You've been causing me nothing but problems getting a prescription filled for months, and no one is giving me a straight answer," he wrote. " It's unclear whether this is related to his hospitalization, and at the time of writing, the YouTuber had yet to explain further.

This is not the 1st time Mark has opened up about his health problems to his fans: in late 2020, Fischbach was rushed to the hospital for "intense abdominal pain," In 2015, he underwent surgery for an intestinal blockage.

So far, we don't know if a similar issue is occurring in this latest instance but his amusing update that doctors are "waiting with bated breath for me to fart" gives fans a hint as to what's going on.
