Miranda Lambert reveals Beverly's mum is healthy with breast cancer after the trip

"We had some unexpected moments of closeness when she rubbed essential oils on my bald head," the country singer's mother said of how the ordeal brought her closer.

Miranda Lambert opens up about the family's health crisis.

"He's been through a lot but is doing well and ready to move on," Lambert, 38, said of his mother. "I was able to guide him through the most challenging part. He's unbearable. He is so strong and positive. It's a good lesson for people on trips like this: even though it's a terrifying place, the more positive, the better.

During the ordeal, Lambert spent time in his native Texas, where he, Pastor Rick, and his brother Luke supported Beverly.

"Some days, there were big stages and tears of laughter, but we held hands and made it together as a family," Beverly told the news. "One important thing to us, especially to me, is keeping my friends and family up to date on updates... I later hear from friends that they always feel included and seem to be going through it with us." So it's not just the struggles that bring our family closer, but the constant contact, reporting, and prayers that bring the more prominent family together. Throughout the journey, I felt like an army was behind me, praying for and clapping for me. Work! I am cancer-free today!" The experience only strengthened the bond between mother and daughter.

"Miranda remains solid as a rock," Beverly said. "He's often home during my chemotherapy tours and keeps things - and me - together. When he's not here in Texas, we'll call or FaceTime so he can see how I'm doing. On the day I shaved, he FaceTimed my hairdresser and me so she could be with me. We had an unexpected moment of rapprochement when she applied essential oils to my bald head. It was the hardest and most tearful of times."
