Netflix could cost anywhere from $7-$9 for its ad-supported subscription plan: report

If the ad-supported plan launched at this price, it would cost about half the price of the most popular Netflix plan, which is $15.49 and has no ads.With the ad-supported version, Netflix plans to attract more subscribers willing to watch some ads from time to time. At that price, Netflix plans to show four minutes of commercials for every hour of streaming. As of now, none of the Netflix subscription plans come with ads.

When the plans come to India, their price should be lower than the international price (the basic plan in India costs Rs 149 compared to $9.99 or Rs 790 in the US).However, the ad-supported subscription model has yet to be rolled out.
