Nicole Ari Parker Reflects on the 'Amazing' Experience of Filming with the Same Cast

Nicole Ari Parker opens up about being part of the legendary cast of And Just Like That...

Speaking to news at the amfAR Gala at the Cannes Film Festival on Thursday, the 51-year-old actress opened up about her experience filming Season 1 of the long-awaited Sex and the City revival.

"About me? Amazing. Amazing," he told news while discussing his AJLT partners Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Christine Davis. "I think it's a lot, three women. Being close is amazing to me. She explained that they are all a thousand times more beautiful and loving, generous, and amazing in person," she explained. "So it took me a few episodes not to be surprised, but I had fun."

As for what fans can expect from the upcoming season of HBO Max, Parker has remained silent about the second part of the series, saying he's "vowed to secrecy" - though he's revealed what he wants to see in his head next.

While fashion is at the forefront of both SATC and AJLT, the show's cast is still in awe when the shadows of their characters' appearances come to life - just like when they were 57, Parker saw her stunning gown for the cover.

Molly Rodgers, a costume designer who has worked with Parker and the rest of the SATC cast, told InStyle all the details behind Carrie's striking appearance from the Paris Bridge stage during AJLT, which ended on HBO.Max in February.

"It was the only dress that went into the room," Rodgers told InStyle of Valentino's coral gown. "SJ [Parker] saw it and said, 'Look no further.' "
