Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Champions AI Innovation at Dubai AI Festival 2025

Under the visionary patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, the second edition of the Dubai AI Festival commenced today, marking a major milestone in the city's journey to becoming a global hub for artificial intelligence.

As a flagship event of Dubai AI Week, the festival embodies Dubai's strategic ambition to harness AI across sectors and transform the future of digital economies. In his opening remarks, Sheikh Hamdan emphasized, "Dubai AI Festival stands as a testament to our vision of positioning Dubai as a global leader in artificial intelligence innovation... We explore the boundless potential of AI, inspire new possibilities, and forge a path towards a future where intelligence and innovation know no bounds."

Exhibition Tour Showcases Global Tech Collaboration

Sheikh Hamdan began his visit with a tour of the exhibition area, where he engaged with pioneering AI projects and global tech partners:

• Dubai AI Campus Pavilion: Demonstrated the city's latest breakthroughs in AI technology and innovation, including a hands-on Google Cloud workshop on generative AI for start-ups.

• Sino-International Entrepreneurs Federation (SIEF) Pavilion: Highlighted innovation-driven Chinese start-ups and presented collaborative opportunities in tech and investment.

• South Korea Pavilion: Showcased the entrepreneurial spirit and advanced AI developments emerging from Korean start-ups.

Global Thought Leadership and AI for All

Sheikh Hamdan also attended a plenary session on 'AI for All', focusing on the democratization of AI and its role in creating inclusive digital economies. The festival, themed 'Enabling Digital Economies', featured over 100 global speakers, 40+ sessions, 30+ roundtables, and immersive workshops addressing topics from AI governance and ethics to real-world AI deployment.

Organized by the Dubai AI Campus - a DIFC initiative - in strategic collaboration with the Office of Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications, the event welcomed 10,000+ attendees, including 500+ investors and decision-makers from over 100 countries.
