The documentary "Lil Baby" will have its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival

Lil Baby will be the subject of a new documentary directed by Karam Gill, premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in June.

The premiere of Untrapped: The Story of Lil Baby is set for the Tribeca Film Festival in lower Manhattan. The documentary, directed and written by renowned filmmaker Karam Gill, will chronicle the meteoric rise of the Atlanta rapper. Lil Baby will also attend the premiere and give a "special performance" afterward.

The news comes as the platinum-selling lyricist teases a possible musical comeback this summer. On April 13, a billboard announcing Lil Baby's impending arrival was spotted and shared on social media, with Lil Baby writing "I'm Coming" in bright white text.

It's unclear where the billboard was spotted, but fans and blogs alike have interpreted the announcement to mean a new album is on the way. The 27-year-old lyricist recently released two new songs, "Right On" and "In a Minute," in April, and he previously announced on his Instagram Stories that summer 2022 was his to take.

The Voice of the Heroes, a 2021 Lil Durk collaboration, was Lil Baby's most recent project, and it featured Meek Mill, Travis Scott, and Rod Wave.
