Republican primaries and face Democratic Senator Warnock, news project

Herschel Walker, the former professional soccer player and entrepreneur recognized by former President Donald Trump will win the Georgia Senate feature race, NBC News predicted Tuesday.

According to news, Walker will face incumbent Democratic Senator Rafael Warnock in the November general election. Warnock took office last year after winning a special election.

The race outcome could upset the balance of power in Washington, where Democrats control the Senate like razors. The House of Representatives is divided 50-50 between Republicans and Democrats, and Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris has the ballot.

Walker is expected to win the GOP primaries easily. But the politically inexperienced athlete, who skipped a debate and was accused of avoiding a hostile press, is likely to get more attention in federal elections.

His campaign faced renewed criticism Tuesday night when crowds in his election monitoring party booed President Joe Biden. He delivered a somber speech that comforted the families of 18 children killed hours earlier in a mass shooting at a US elementary school.

When the president faulted the "gun lobby," the crowd responded with ridicule, according to news and other media outlets. Following the speech, Fox News was joined by Tucker Carlson, who described Biden as "fragile" and sparked applause from the crowd.

Walker, who was not listening to the president's address to the crowd, immediately joined them also asked everyone to god for the people of Texas, news reported. Trump also called the party to say hello to Walker. "You are the greatest footballer, and you will be the greatest politician," Trump said.

According to RealClearPolitics, preliminary studies of a hypothetical Walker-Warnock match suggest that the candidates are nearly even.

The first race in Georgia, the state battling to pick Biden in the 2020 election, is the biggest test for Trump's continued hold on the Republican Party.
