Up to 6 feet of snow on roads in New York

Heavy snowfall is happening in many states of America including New York. Western New York is the hardest hit. 2 people have died due to more than 6 feet of snow in some places here. It is believed that in the next 24 hours, New York may experience the heaviest snowfall ever.

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding heavy snowfall and has appealed to people not to step out of their homes. Many roads have been closed in America. Driving was not allowed and many flights were stopped.

Rescue operations are going on in many areas

Rescue crews are working around the clock in many parts of Western New York. So far two hundred eighty people have been saved here. It is reported that around 1,600 people are living without electricity. Government workers are working to remove snow from roads and important places in snow-covered areas.
