There's one dish Camilla Alves McConaughey can barely keep at home.
Camilla Alves McConaughey's 3-ingredient side dish was gone before putting it on the table.
The mother-of-three posted a hilarious video to Instagram Monday of one of her sons, Levi, 13, and husband Matthew McConaughey testing her yucca taste, which she published in honor of Kid Healthy Week. (With Levi, Camilla and Matthew share son Livingston, 9, and daughter Vida, 12.)
"LOVE my little ones when I make fried yucca potatoes," she captioned the photo.
The video starts with Camilla holding a plate of chocolate with some fried yucca potatoes on it. Levi hums in the background of the video and grabs one to enjoy.
"Look at these guys. His plate is almost gone," he said, pointing to his plate. Although viewers can't see Matthew in the video, you can hear how much he loves his wife's delicious side dish. His hand makes a cameo appearance in the video as he picks up the last crunchy treat from the plate.
"Fries have nothing to do with it!" he said. In the background, the Oscar winner made a "silly silly" sound before asking, "Can I have that for the main course?" The three-ingredient recipe posted on Camilla's website for women today is a win-win situation.
"Can you see? It's a hit in my household," he added, shrugging at the camera. "Maybe with you too." Matthew interrupted the recipe again to add his seal of approval: "Could you do more!" he said. Camilla looked amused as she held her food over her family and ended her post with a kiss. "Okay, I'll finish cooking my dinner," he said.
To try a dish popular in Camilla's home country, Brazil, all you need is whole yucca, avocado oil (or another high-temperature oil), and sea salt. Camels boil the root vegetables, then slice them and sauté them in oil before sprinkling them with salt while they are still hot. (Get the full recipe for Women Today.)
This model doesn't just promote healthy eating habits on your own four walls. In March, he released his first book, Try One Bite, which ironically features children confronting their picky parents. He teamed up with Go the F**k to Sleep author Adam Mansbach for the book.
"Everything is balanced," Alves McConaughey told PEOPLE in November. "When parents take the time to talk to their children about healthy eating, they will grow up with healthier habits as adults. And a balanced conversation allows for an open dialogue between parents and children."
