Harry Styles reveals he is "not a sushi roll man" despite writing "music for sushi restaurants

Harry Styles may have opened Harry's House with "Sushi Restaurant Music," but that doesn't mean the star is praising the popular dish. 28-year-old Stiles revealed in an interview with Matthew Reed on Mix 104.1 Acoustic Sunrise that he doesn't like sushi rolls.

"It doesn't matter. I'm not roller blind," he said when asked by a fan what he called his favorite sushi roll. According to Billboard, the Grammy winner released Harry's House, his third critically acclaimed album, breaking the current record for biggest-selling vinyl album week in the United States in just three days.

The album's lead single, "As It Was," broke the Guinness World Record for the best streaming show on Spotify in 24 hours (male) after racking up more than 16 million streams since its April release.

Stiles told Reed that recording the record was "the most fun I've ever had on an album" and explained how he feels like he's finally come to his senses after more than a decade in the industry.

"I find my experience of making music more enjoyable; I feel more and more in love with each other," he said. "And that for me, I think, is pride in something I've done. I think I'm a lot more confident that it's something I want to do."

The "As It Was" hitmaker added that he considers Harry's House his "favorite album right now" and attributes it to helping him survive the pandemic.

"I was thrilled with how it ended, and there's a lot of love in it, and I think this album got me through the pandemic and other things, so it means a lot to me," he said.

Elsewhere in the interview, Stiles answered questions from fans while revealing some personal details: No, he doesn't have pets, yes, he sings in the shower, and his favorite childhood movie is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
