Jennifer Garner's mother, Patricia Garner, isn't going to make it easy for her daughter in front of her nearly 13 million Instagram followers. The 13 Going on 30, 50 star joins her mother to celebrate Mother's Day on the latest episode of her Cooking Claims Show. Jennifer makes buckwheat buckles while her special guests practice.

As she presents her recipe, Jennifer gets her first outrageous response from Pat. Jennifer says the recipe is from Cheryl Day's Southern Baking Treasury cookbook and tells her to get it for her mother.

"Well, you don't have to take it from me; it's rarely baked anymore," replied her mother.

Later in the video, Jennifer adds white sugar and brown sugar to her recipe and asks, "Mom, I always cut back on sugar when I bake.

"He's not baking anymore, Jen," her mother repeated.

Oh, mother! Have fun with him for a bit! "Lord Louise," laughed Jennifer. Pat also revealed that the mother-daughter pair "shouldn't be dating together." We always have to take someone with us because we don't know where we are."

"Yes. No one ever encouraged you and me to make a decision," Jennifer said.

"#PretendCookingShow is proud to present a special treat for Mother's Day: the most comfortable mom in the world - Pat Garner," she wrote in the video caption.

Thank you for the hot plate of food you had in the car when you drove me from ballet to practice @charlestonlightoperaguild, making sure we could see life beyond our (amazing) hometown and teaching me to talk to strangers while I waited. OK, to show us how to invest in the community, be amazing grandmothers, write letters to my three children every month, and connect me with stories of your life on the farm because it only gets angry when we laugh at church. For your stable partnership with dad," he wrote.

"Besides, you're cute." I know it's great being a mom because you always show us how much you love your job," she added. Jennifer isn't the only celebrity to receive help from her mother on Mother's Day.

His mother, Tammy joins Ryan Reynolds to create a new cocktail called "Mother's Ruin Punch" in the hilarious video for his Aviation Gin.

"It's almost Mother's Day. This time of year, we recognize our mothers for all the love and support they have given us.
