The Iron Chef is back in the Kitchen Stadium for the new Netflix Iron Chef reboot

Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend will hit Netflix on June 15th... There are tons of celebrities in Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend!

In a new Netflix rerun of the popular Food Network show (based on the original Japanese version), five Iron Chefs will battle it out with a Challenge Chef - and news is the first to reveal the culinary stars who will be going head-to-head in the iconic Kitchen Stadium.

Among the five Iron Chefs returning is Michelin-starred TV chef Curtis Stone, acclaimed chef Marcus Samuelson, cookbook author Gabriela Camara, Emmy-winning chef Ming Tsai and Michelin-starred chef Dominique Dominic.

And their competition is fierce. Challenger chefs include Mason Hereford, Curtis Duffy, Claudette Zepeda, Esther Choi, Gregory Gourde, Mae Lin, and Ia Wang, from restaurant owners to award-winning chefs and former top chefs.

The eight 45-minute episodes will see the most successful challenger emerge and "return to battle in the grand finale for luck to be crowned the first Iron Legend of its kind," according to the show's synopsis.

"Becoming an Iron Chef and following in the footsteps of the chefs who inspired me to cook was an opportunity of a lifetime that took me and my cooking to a new level," said Stone. "Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend has everything you've always loved from a classic Iron Chef, including celebrities like Alton [Brown] and the President, but we have great new chefs and lots of surprises in Dominic Crane, America's first woman. Three Michelin stars are known to Iron Chef fans for beating Iron Chef Michael Simon in Battle Yogurt.
